Wine Tote

This Wine Tote is a free pattern from Around the Bobbin and has been on my to make list for quite a while. I happened to have the perfect wine bottle/glasses fabric too. I paired the fabric with a purple faux cork fabric.

I did make a couple of changes. I sewed the center of the handle smaller by folding it over and that made the handle a bit smaller, but easier to hold on to. I also riveted the handle in place on the outside instead of sewing the handle into the the top. I used foam to help make the tote more rigid and quilted the lining to the foam.

Miss Bunny is thinking about having a sip of wine.

  1. That is a great idea, are you going to put those in your Etsy shop?

  2. A perfect use of the cork fabric! The tote is very nicely made...as for your usual sewing talents. I think the tote would make a nice disguise for my tequila bottle.
