Knit Sweater for my Husband

I knit this for my husband. It was the first sweater I have ever knit for him. It's all ribbed, so it stretches to fit his body. I did block it before putting it all together.

Child's Pants

I made these pocket pants for my grandson. I didn't quite have enough of the fabric to make the pockets (pockets go all the way to the ankles), so I trimmed one pocket with muslin and the other I made out of muslin and trimmed in the main fabric. Both pockets have white ribbing on top, as well as ribbing on the ankles. They came out cute and I can't wait to see him wear these. They are a bit too large, but kids grow like weeds, so it won't be long before they will fit him.

Mini Applique Flower Quilt

My friend and I are going to teach a workshop for children in making mini art quilts using applique shapes that are fused only. No sewing involved. I made this as an example for the class. Embellished with 3 buttons and seed beads on the buttons, which were glued in place.

Very Hungry Caterpillar Quilt

I made this quilt for my grandson's first birthday, which will be in November. The party theme is the Very Hungry Caterpillar, from the book by the same name authored by Eric Carle.
