Knit Hats

I knit these hats a long while back and am finally sharing them now.

I think if I remember correctly that this was a beret style hat.

 I knit it with a mohair yarn and another yarn that had some metallic in it.

This was the same pattern as above, but knit in a wool yarn.

I don't remember if this was the same hat or a similar hat? That will teach me to post these soon after they are made and not wait more that a year to share them.

It cane be worn like this, or pulled now lower as in photos down below.

I will probably donate these hats (if I can find what I did with them, I may have already donated them and forgot I did?).

Hand Knit Beret in Variegated Yarn

I knit this beret in a variegated yarn. The yarn didn't have a label and I have no idea where I got it? Maybe at a destash sale or yarn exchange? It was a nice yarn to work with, so I wish I knew what it was.

My real hair used to look curly like this wig, but has lost a lot of it's curl through aging.

Knit Beret and Socks

Top of beret.

I made these for my grandson. I made the socks first out of a self-stripe/patterning yarn. Then I made the hat, but ran out of the yarn and so I used a white yarn to finish the hat, but the white was so stark I soaked the whole thing in some tea after it was finished to blend the colors. I put it on my grandson and the white part sits on the top of the head, so it works fine, and my grandson looks so adorable in this hat!
