| Lining fabric is cursive writing, which the girls in Zambia are not taught, but maybe the girls who receive these purses can figure it out and learn to read some words written in cursive? So many of the letters are nearly the same as block style, just a handful look different, but since the letters are written in order, they could learn to recognize the ones that look different to them? Like the word, Stars on the purse on the right is in a different font, so they might not know how to read it? I do let them know what it says as I write what words are on the flap on the notecard that I include with the purse, just in case. |
