The top is made. |
I used all scraps of fabric to make the top, except for the border fabric. Even all the whites and off-white fabrics were scraps. |
I quilted the runner with simple vertical and horizontal lines. |

Lovely table runner, Daryl. I have the twisty tool but haven't tried it yet. I love the look of this pattern.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I've got the tool, but have never made a quilt with it.
ReplyDeleteI've made a few Twister table toppers and they are always fun. Yours looks terrific.
ReplyDeleteOooo, I love that! The rainbow colors give it great movement!
ReplyDeleteThis Twister Table Topper is a bright fun Summer Smile! Love that you used scraps and finished your UFO. Your sister is going to love this gift.
ReplyDeleteLove that bright, happy rainbow twister runner. I'll bet your sister will love it too. I made a twister table/wall quilt once and that was pretty much enough for me. I really don't like that I can't see ahead of time how something will look. Ack, does that me a control freak?!
ReplyDeleteThat runner is awesome. Your sister would be happy!! I will not tell her!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Maartje. You are a no-reply, so I couldn't email you directly. Thank you for your comment.

ReplyDeleteI've never seen a scrappy rainbow twister before Daryl. It's so cheerful and fun that I fell in love with it at first sight!
ReplyDeleteSpectacular! I like the simple quilting. It doesn't distract from the motif.
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating to my Fabric, Thread and Yarn Link party. Have a good day!
It's lovely, Daryl. There is nothing like rainbow to make anyone's day!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lena. You are a no-reply, so I couldn't email you directly. Glad you like the table runner.
DeleteJust beautiful, Daryl. I love the fact that the top was made from scraps.
