Applique Women Quilts

I made these two quilts that are from Carrie Payne's applique designs. I purchased the pdf's from her Etsy store. The background fabric and the fabric of the 2 dresses were from my blog friend Norma, who sells Stampin' Up products and those 3 fabrics were from Stamping' Up. The skin was a stamp I purchased from Norma's Stampin' Up store. The stamp is called En Francais and it makes a perfect skin when I stamped it on some fabric. Thank you Norma for those fabrics, they were just the perfect fabrics for these 2 little wall quilts. I love them!
I added a handbag in her hand, using a pink tissue lamé fabric.

I added a flower and beads for her hair and I embroidered a "chain necklace" and added an earring as a necklace. I think I lost the other earring and had this one which worked great as a necklace.
I also added a necklace to this quilt using a heart charm.

  11. wow, very whimsical and fun. I am just in love with the idea of using script on fabric as the skin color, its brilliant. I love the movement of the skirt you can feel the wind blowing as you look at her. the added little touches of the flower and necklace really make them extra special. great job.
