I painted my fabric with watercolor pencils going around in a circle. I like how that turned out. |
I hand quilted this piece using some sliver thread which has a pretty iridescent look to it. |
This is a sunflower I doodled onto a piece of muslin. Then added this black print border. It needs to be quilted. |
Daryl, your doodles are amazing, you are very talented. I love the sunflower the most.

Do the watercolours wear okay? Or are these strictly wallhangings which are never to be washed?
ReplyDeleteAmazing doodles, Daryl. Love the effect of the watercolours!!! I didn't know you could get watercolour pencils.
ReplyDeletegreat combination, I especially love the sunflower, this is such a great way to embellish or add to fabric. This has such a 60's feel to it with the water color. The detail is amazing, its definitely a skill I hope to learn one day. great job and its so fun to look at, makes me smile.

I love your doodles they're so unique. They'd make great wall hangings. I'd love to experiment with something like this but as usual time is a problem.
