Strawberry Tea Cozy & Pumpkin Hat

I made this pumpkin hat for my grandson's 2nd birthday in November. I made him a pumpkin hat when he was a baby and my daughter wanted him to have another one so he could be a pumpkin for Halloween as well. I'm working on making a pumpkin costume too.

Handknit socks

I knit these socks for my son. I'll give them to him once the weather gets cold. Knit on size 2 needles and fingering weight yarn.

All these I made to sell. Some I sold, some I gave away and a few I still have.



I used a metallic thread to quilt the pocket on the front. I sold this purse.

I used some home decorator fabrics to make this purse and then I made a braided strap out of quilter's cotton weight fabric. (Update: I gave this purse away in a blog give-away I had December 2012)

Tote Bags

I made this small tote bag for my daughter. She had been to Paris and saw the Eiffel Tower in person.



I knit this tote wih wool yarn, then felted it in the washing machine.

Batik Purse

This is my latest creation, a batik purse. I used several batiks that I sewed together to create this purse. I added 2 buttons stacked on top of each other, but the top button was a button with a shank, which ended up falling off as it didn't really sit right. So I sewed a small round yellow button on top of the purple flower button instead and that worked much better as it wasn't a shank. I added 2 double pockets to the lining. It's a great size purse.
