Using a variegated cotton yarn in pink, brown and white (Neapolitan), I knit this bowl. Most of the brown wanted to stay on this side of the bowl. |

Looking down into the bowl. You can see the sides of the bowl are soft and not very rigid. |
The bottom of the bowl started off nicely looking like stripes and then decided to knit with most of the brown on one side and the pink on the other. |

ReplyDeletecute bowl, if you want to make it stiff there is a way to do it. you'd have to look it up to get the measurements right but I remember folks making a solution with starch that made cotton bowls stiff. its worth a try if you want it firmer.
