Looking inside of the bowl. |
I added a flower button. |
I made the edges similar to fluting a pie crust. This bowl has some flexibility to it and can be shaped how you like it. |

ReplyDeleteHi!!!! Wow!!!! That bowl is beautiful!!!!! Very pretty colors and I like the fluting to it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDaryl your Regal Purple bowl is lovely and worthy of a spot on a pedestal. I hope the consignment shop understands fine workmanship and offers it properly. I would see this in a gallery for sale also. Creative Fabric Bliss Dear...
ReplyDeleteOh WOW! this is beautiful and that color is stunning:) I hope you had a great weekend and thank you for your sweet comment on my little Dude's video:)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Norma
Soooooo pretty. I love how you've fluted it. I made some of these sooo long ago and they're really fun to make.
ReplyDeleteI love the bowl and the fabric you used. I will have to try making a bowl, I have only made flat table mats. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI never realized that macramé had specific cords, if I remember correctly i just used what ever cotton rope/string I could find. I love the look of this bowl, it has great movement and the spiral to the front embellishment is gorgeous. The batik fabric is a great choice. you really took the wrapped bowl to a new level.
ReplyDeletegreat job and of course it looks beautiful, Tara
I loooove it! Nice colors!!!!! I want one like this........you are always a source of inspiration for me :) Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteYou make such fun and interesting projects, Daryl. Love all the different purples together. Am I right in thinking you've machined the cords together after wrapping in fabric?
ReplyDeleteYou are thinking about incorporating a site where people can play videos or look at lots of photos, but making that a reality takes knowledge you might not have yet.
