Crocheted Mandala
I crocheted this mandala using some scraps for yarn I had. I follow Lucy's blog here because she makes the most beautiful crocheted things. So yesterday I sat down and followed Lucy's tutorial on how to make one of her mandalas. It was actually fun and not as scary as I thought. Being mainly a knitter, crochet is something I haven't done as much of in the past. As long as the pattern is well written in words (I find charts harder to follow), then I can do it. I will try making some more of these. Thanks Lucy for your great tutorial!

You inspire me to one day step away from the sewing machine and try another medium. I used to crochet many years ago and enjoyed it but never knitted.
