Your bag is so gorgeous. Those colours are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Maria, great bag of gorgeous green fabrics! Very clever with the handle! The bead gives it just that bit of extra umph. Well done, Daryl!
ReplyDeleteI have bought a jelly roll and clothesline, have yet to work on it...you got me inspired!
ReplyDeleteWoW, Just WOW, that bag is gorgeous. I like to see how you did it.
ReplyDeleteI love your bag soooooo much! I get the impression that using macrame cord results in a more flexible bag,I love it, I have to try to make one with your technique. Thanks for sharing your creation with us, I love the color of your bag.You did a nice job!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that bag. now I want one.
ReplyDeleteOh that bag is beautiful!!! Is there a pattern available for it?
ReplyDeleteJudyC did you know that you are a "No-reply" blogger? Which means I cannot contact you through email because you have your blogger set as no-reply. You can change this through your profile by adding your email address. I am not sure if you will be checking back here for my reply to you, but I wanted to answer you. I do not have a pattern for this bag because I was just playing around with it as I made it. It's hard to make a pattern for the fabric wrapped items exactly as there are many variables when making them. Just try making something small to get the feel for it and then play around with it. There are 3 books:
ReplyDelete"It's a Wrap"; It's a Wrap 2", "Sewing Pottery" are all great for learning the technique.
I don't like green, but I think your bag is absolutely beautiful. I love how you designed your handles and the embellishment you created with them. Thanks for posting!

ReplyDeleteHi, I just found this thru Pinterest and I love it. Green is my favorite and this is gorgeous! I would love to know how you did the sides with the handles. It is so different from other wrapped bags I've seen.
