Green Fabric Wrapped Bag/Purse

I made another fabric wrapped bag using macramé cord. I made handles with cording inserted inside the fabric. I added a green pony tail elastic loop as the closure loop and a stacked button. I also added a large bead on the side that the handles were inserted through.

  2. I agree with Maria, great bag of gorgeous green fabrics! Very clever with the handle! The bead gives it just that bit of extra umph. Well done, Daryl!

  8. JudyC did you know that you are a "No-reply" blogger? Which means I cannot contact you through email because you have your blogger set as no-reply. You can change this through your profile by adding your email address. I am not sure if you will be checking back here for my reply to you, but I wanted to answer you. I do not have a pattern for this bag because I was just playing around with it as I made it. It's hard to make a pattern for the fabric wrapped items exactly as there are many variables when making them. Just try making something small to get the feel for it and then play around with it. There are 3 books:
"It's a Wrap"; It's a Wrap 2", "Sewing Pottery" are all great for learning the technique.
