Rover Small Passport Wallets

I made 3 of these passport wallets, but forgot to photograph the first one I made before taking it to the gift shop. So here are 2 of them. The pattern is called Rover and it's designed by Geny Cartes Sewing Patterns. It is an easy pattern and this passport wallet is smaller than the other ones I have made. It will hold a passport or 2 and ID or credit cards too. Doesn't take much fabric so ideal for using up scraps.

The city scene fabric is about 19 years old now! It was a Millennium fabric that came out just before the year 2000!!! Gosh remember how we counted down the days and minutes to the year 2000 and people were so worried that computers would crash? Can you believe in just over 2 years we will be in the year 2020??? Where did the time go? 2020 always seemed so futuristic!

I repeated some of the exterior fabric on the inside too.

You can put a passport here and on the other pocket across from it. Can be used for cash or tickets too.

The front and back view.
This is another Rover Passport wallet using another Millennium fabric, clocks.

The back side.

Inside I used a blue and a yellow fabric.

  2. Oh that's an awesome design (I just favourited it on Craftsy) - the curved pocket gives it extra bling :) Your fabrics, as usual, are just great - especially that Millenial print. It *is* hard to believe that it's been almost 20 years since we had to worry about the world falling apart if everyone's computers crashed, LOL!!!

  3. I do remember 2000 and how frightened people were. Fabulous fabric and amazing that you still have some. This passport wallet is wonderful and each one you have sewn is fun and functional.
