Black Fabric Coiled Bowls & Brown Coiled Bowls

I made these bowls a couple of months ago, but I am just getting around to posting them here on my blog. I used a wimpier feeling clothesline on the black bowls, which is okay, but I got used to the stiffer kind and these bowls bend easier, which isn't a bad thing. I have shaped some bowls in the past around a glass bowl or pottery and liked the results. I sold the brown bowl already and the oval black one I took to the gift shop today. I still have the round black one, but will be selling that one too when I can take it to the shop.

  1. I love these. More beautiful work.

  2. Daryl, love the bowls. I like doing this too, except I have only made flat table runner kind, and they last a long time.

  3. Your coiled fabric bowls are always beautiful. These will sell quickly I think as the colors are so neutral. Summer Smiles...

  4. These bowls are beautiful. I have been wanting to try this technique to make mats for the end tables.
