Quilted Chef Placemats

I have been wanting to make this fabric panel that I had into placemats for a few years now. It's a Loralie Design print fabric and it has these large prints of chefs on the fabric. So I cut each section out and added a red border on them and then quilted them. I sent these to my sister for Christmas. Her husband is a chef, so I thought these would be nice placemats for her to have and they are such fun prints too. I used a vegetable print fabric on the back and the binding that is also a Loralie print so it really goes well together.

This vegetable print is what I used for the back of the placemats and the binding too.
