Bow Tie For My Grandson

My 7-year old grandson loves to wear ties and especially bow ties. So I made him 2 bow ties, but only gave him the Christmas fabric bow tie so he could wear it several times before Christmas. The other bow tie is wrapped and under his tree. He chose the fabric months ago for blue tie. I think it's safe to post these on my blog now, since he doesn't read my blog, LOL!!!
Trying to find a way to photograph the bow tie, I noticed that this Buddha garden statue in my front yard would work perfectly as a model. lol!!!
Christmas candy fabric made a nice looking bow tie.
The blue bow tie was a fabric that looks like a man's shirt fabric.

I brought the bow tie over to my grandson early in the morning when he was getting ready for school, since I had to drive him to school that morning. So he still looks a bit sleepy and  hadn't combed his hair yet. He wore the bow tie to school that day. I sewed a snap on the tie at the back to make it easy to put on and take off. However, it fits around his neck and I didn't think about making it fit around the shirt collar. So I included in the the blue bow tie package a clip he can clip it to his shirt if he wants to.
