I knit this shrug using 3 yarns held together. It
is a was a free pattern from Wool Trends called
Fleece Artist Circular Shrug. (*Update 11/30-15: Apparently this pattern is no longer being offered online anymore, free or even for sale. I couldn't find it anywhere. You might want to contact Wool Trends and ask about this pattern if you are interested in it. I am not sure why it is no longer out there anymore).
One of the yarns I used is an off white mohair yarn, one navy blue mohair yarn and one wine colored yarn with pink slubs that I do not know what the yarn was made of. The yarns worked well together and the shrug has a purple hue to it. It is very easy to knit and would look great in almost any yarn.

Boy, this is a really sharp shrug. I'm not a great knitter, but I'm going to grab the pattern. Looks like a good arm chair project for the fall.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. Your yarn choices were a good match.

Really, really cute! Great pattern. Even for a shrug, it looks warm and cozy... nice job!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Daryl...the color, the style, everyhing. I hate to think about it but it won't be long before this is going to feel real good on a chilly day.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great pattern. Your yarn choices are great; you did a good job as always.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! And very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely accent piece and perfect for keeping the chill off the shoulders. Your yarns and colors are just right. Great gift idea here. Thank you for always sharing so nicely dear...

Beautiful! I love the shade created by the three yarns. I guess that with such big needles, it was a fast project. I bookmarked the page with the pattern. Thank you for showing us!
ReplyDeleteLOVE, LOVE, LOVE your knitted top, Daryl... both the style, the wool and the colours. Have pinned in case I one day decide to take up knitting again.
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect design. I can't wear anything with wooly sleeves as I get too hot but sometimes need some warmth on my back and neck so I love this. Now I just need to find someone to knit me one LOLL
