Think Christmas Blog Hop & Giveaway

It's my day for sharing on the Think Christmas Blog Hop. I got out my zippered scrap bags of red and green put this little angel together. I thought I would do my very first giveaway too. I don't have a sponsor, so this is from me to you (the lucky winner). What am I giving away? This cute Angel Block:
I fused and did the blanket and chain stitching by hand.
I made this snowman block too. The blue sky I painted with watercolor pencils. I did machine embroidery stitches around the applique shapes. The photo below shows the finished little quilt I made.

Here is today's Blog Hop schedule:
Aurea (we will post)
To be eligible to win the Angel Block just leave me a comment. If you are currently a follower of my blog then please leave me another comment stating that you follow my blog to give you a second chance at winning. Enjoy the blog hop!

  91. I just love hand embroidered anything. I enjoy doing it myself and anything anyone else spends the time doing. I used to teach embroidery at different times during my career and it always delighted me how much the boys enjoyed learning and doing embroidery. Another thing about embroidery is that it linked generations as my students would go home and some would inevitably discover a relative who had done it. It's too bad that all these skills have been tossed aside in the schools these days. The first time I taught embroidery, the math teacher thanked me for helping her son develop concentration skills!
