I'm still buzzing about all the wonderful comments I have received and the new fabulous followers I've gained too. Thank you all for stopping by. Gosh what a little word-of-mouth will do, huh? I know some of you will continue to stop by here and see what I'm up to and others may not, but that's okay because I know I may lose some followers, but gain some new ones too; I'm realistic enough to realise that. I will try and stop by each and everyone of your blogs too. I hope to check out a few each day.
I'm going to work on improving a few things to make it easier for my readers too. I'll add some various tabs of catagories, but it may be awhile before they are all up and running so give me some time. Comments are always welcome whenever you have something to say. The annoying word verification has been removed so as to make your life easier. I heard you all when you said that it keeps you from making comments. I totally agree as I have given up making comments on other blogs because when you have to jump through too many hoops you lose me too. So if you also blog, please take note of that if you want more comments too.
Okay I'm off to add some new things to the blog.
Your blogging friend, Daryl

Thank you so much for your comment. I appreciate every one. If you do not hear a reply back from me, it could be that you are a no-reply, or that Google/Blogger has changed something (again!) making it impossible to respond back to you. If you want a reply because you asked a question, please fill out the Contact Form located on the right side of the blog and I will respond to you that way. Thank you for stopping by! I was forced to add comment moderation due to huge number of SPAM!

I saw your blog on Sew Many Ways (which I stumbled onto from a Pinterest link) and just had to pop in to say I LOVE the pear you knitted! Your quilts are beautiful too, but that little pear... oh. so. sweet.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
I took word verification off my blog too (I didn't even realize it was on!) Can wait to see what you do with the blog! o:)
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog from 'sew many ways'. I love the little purses. I like to make little pocket purses, too. I'll be back from time to time to see what else you have made
ReplyDeleteI'll be watching to see what you do with your blog. =)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all your new followers and I have had the word verification off for quite some time and spam seems to get caught before getting on my blog most of the time. I am your newest follower!

I love finding new quilting and craft blogs! You do beautiful work.
ReplyDelete180 follower! Wow!! How wonderful.
ReplyDeleteEven if half of those come by regularly, you should get quit some comments as of now, don't you think.
I'm one of them.
'Till next time than??

Hi D
ReplyDeleteThat WV is a pain. So is reporting comments as spam, but at least its a pain for me and not readers.
Just remember, if you loose a follower, they may be following in another way besides "followers". No matter anyway. Some come, some go and its not always something you did or didn't do.
xx, Carol
Wow.. That is wonderful.. prayed it would be just this way for you.. Hope you keep a lot of those who commented and you have a great following..you have a lot to offer... God Bless .. now to get my own working better.. I guess I had better get to work

I had previously read the comment you posted on SMW, but waited to write because I wanted to get it right. But, cancer treatment & the flu got in the way & I forgot. Sorry. I don't blog, because I don't think anyone would read it. I visit lots of blogs, most of them everyday, but I am not a signed up "follower" on any. I do make comments & have a Google account so I can be reached. I have a lot more I'd like to say about your post, but mainly hang in there.
ReplyDeleteI am one of those lurkers, reading but not really commenting, I have just come across your blog, which I read about on Sew Many Ways, and from reading this decided that I should become less a lurker and more a participant in this wonderful world. I don't have a blog, have thought about it, but well life has been very topsy turvy for me these last few years, maybe blogging about it might help, who knows.. I am still considering it, and as you say, do it for yourself, not for others.
ReplyDeleteLove your stuff, hugssss
I heard about your blog from Sew Many Ways. I don't have a blog myself but I follow alot of them. I can't say from personal experience how you have felt not getting many comments. but all that seems to be changing for you now, YAY. I can tell you that I have favorite blogs that I hardly ever comment on. Don't know why. I intend to follow yours, I think you are so talented.
