The front of the Bye Bye Love bag. |
The back of the bag . |
Zippered pocket on the back of the bag. |
I added a beaded zipper pull to make it easier to grab onto for zipping and unzipping. |
Inside the bag are pockets. I always like to add a narrow pen/pencil pocket too. |
Your bag is sew lovely. The fabric is awesome and I am sure that you will enjoy using this beautiful bag.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing
Cute bag! I like the pen pocket.....if I don't have a narrow pocket, my pen just falls over and I have to dig for it. Looking forward to the whole series of bags!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful bag, love the zipper pull bead touch and the buttons on the pockets, that is interesting that the photograph added texture. Looks really awesome.
ReplyDeleteDaryl, the bag is gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI ca n't believe your done already...i haven't even picked my fabric :-0
You did a great job Daryl. That fabric reminds me of the 70's LOLLL it's beautiful and I love the lining fabric. I'm really looking forward to making mine but have some quilting blocks I need to finish first.
ReplyDeleteGreat bag. I really like the outside pockets. I also like the lining fabric; sometimes the lining can be too dark and I can't see anything inside.
ReplyDeleteCute bag, whatch gonna do with it ?
ReplyDeleteGreat results, Daryl. You worked fast. I haven't started mine. Last night I was trying to choose the fabrics. Yours is really good. I like the color combination and the detail on the zipper.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute bag. I love how it turned out.
ReplyDeleteI'm participating as well but haven't started. I'm thinking a navy denim and I have one with some sequins on it if I can find it. Red white and blue. Yours is inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carol. Looking forward to seeing your bag too when it's done. You are a no-reply by the way.
DeleteLove your bag and the fabrics you chose! Just perfect for this pattern! I am getting the patterns, too...hope to make mine by the end of the month. Did you use Soft and Stable?

Happy 2014 Daryl, I know the year has started but I'm recently back in our world "Blogland". I was enjoying your creations, I really liked the hat that you knit for your husband, I'm happy that my husband did not see it, as he would have ordered one as well for him. I love this bag, the colors and details that you always give to your bags make them unique. I wish you a good year full of inspiration and creativity. Your bloggy friend, Marisa from http://passionetcouture.blogspot.ca/
ReplyDeleteGreat job Daryl! Love the fabrics and that zipper pull too! :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous bag with lots of happy pockets to keep everything organized. Blissful Stitching in this New Year...
ReplyDeleteGreat bag. I was wondering about the waffle fabric, too bad it was just a photographic enhancement.
ReplyDeleteI also live in New Mexico.
Deletegreat job, I agree that the pen or pencil pocket should be added. I see that you added the typical Daryl addition of a dangle to the zipper. Its a fun tote with the big flowers and I like the size of the pockets. both inside and out.
