I knit this cotton dishcloth in the Snakes and Ladders pattern by Michelle Krause. |
I knit this cotton dishcloth in the Boxy Dishcloth pattern, also by Michelle Krause. I was just a few stitches short of the binding off when I ran out of this orange yarn. If you look at the top right hand corner you can see that I had to use another yarn that I had on hand, which was a black cotton yarn. So that is the reason for the tiny bit of black there. Oh well, it's just a dishcloth. |
dishclothes are so much fun to make, i love your patterns. i've been making some with designs that show a picture through the relief of raised stitches. I've made LOTS of peace sympbols in a circle within a square. i hope that made sense. i've been doing them in green so you can see them as "greenpeace" as well.
ReplyDeletei found with some of the really cheap yarn the colors come out the first time you use it. i've had my hands turn colors after knitting with some inexpensive yarns.
thanks for sharing.

Your dishcloths are so pretty. Good job the bride I made the kitchen stuff for can't see them or else she'd be wanting the orange one. LOLLLLL You could always crochet a border around the orange one so you can't see the black.
ReplyDeleteLike the dishcloths. I just downloaded the patterns so I can make some. My sisters like them.
ReplyDeleteMy mom used to make knitted dish clothes and passed them on to me...loved them! Yours are beautiful!
