Strawberry Tote Bags

I sell this pattern on Craftsy for making this Strawberry (fold-up) tote bag. I had a lot of this home decor weight floral fabric and wanted to use it up, so I decided I would make several of my Strawberry Tote Bags. Then I found some other fabric to use up too, so I got busy making even more bags. These bags fold or more accurately scrunch up into the strawberry part of the bag, so that you can easily keep a bag in your purse or car for when you go shopping. Why use plastic bags from the store when you can use a prettier and more practical bag? I always keep on in my purse and use it all the time.

I used different reds and greens for these bags for the strawberry part, so that's why I took so many photos, because the strawberry part is different.
I made several more bags with this floral print that I am not showing if the strawberry fabric was a duplicate. I think I made 18 bags in all, including the other prints below too.

The bag is stuffed into the strawberry here.

Quilted Ginger Jar Placemats

Happy Birthday Tara! I made these set of 4 placemats for my friend for her birthday. Since my birthday is the 13th and hers is the 19th, we always get together and go out to lunch and celebrate our birthdays on a day inbetween our birthdays. We exchange gifts of course and this is what I made for Tara. Also instead of using gift wrapping, I placed these into one of the strawberry bags that I made. Tara loves Asian anything, so the bag and the placemats all use Asian fabrics.

I put the placemats into this bag I made. The bag folds into a strawberry. The instructions to make this bag can be purchased on Craftsy if you are interested.

Strawberry Bag

I made a tote bag that scrunches into the corner of the bag, when not being used and becomes a...
...strawberry when the rest of the tote is stuffed inside. Then I can add a carabiner clip and attach it to the outside of my purse so that I can always have a bag available when I need to use it.
I made several more to give as gifts to friends and family. I'll post those later as I give them to each person. Don't want any of them to see them ahead of time you know.

To purchase this pattern to make your own Strawberry Bag, please go to my Craftsy Store (see sidebar).
