Sunshine Cross Body Bag in Orange Floral & Blue

This is the second Sunshine Cross Body Bag I made. It's a free pdf from Bagstock Designs. On this bag I added another zippered pocket on the back of this bag as well as the front, and a slip pocket inside too. I love this bright orange floral fabric with the green leaves and touch of blue, so adding the blue accent fabric with a tiny paisley print for the sides and strap went so well with the floral print.

This is the back of the bag with another zippered pocket.

Inside is a zippered pocket and the added slip pocket.

I used 3 fabrics to make this slip pocket, which includes a pen pocket division and a snap, since the rest of the pocket is wider.

Unsnapped pocket is wide.

I will be bringing this one with me to sell at a small craft show in the middle of the month. If you would like to buy it before I attend the show, please contact me.

Sunshine Cross Body Bag in Hot Air Balloon Print

I made the Sunshine Cross Body bag, which is a free pdf from Bagstock Sewing Patterns. I love how this one came out. It is a sweet style and not too large or small of a bag. I chose this hot air balloon print and the gray Uncorked fabric print and love them together. The bag features a zippered closure, a front zippered pocket, a zippered interior pocket and I also added a slip pocket inside too.

This bag is currently listed for sale in my Etsy Shop. When it's gone it's gone. I may make more of this style bag, but not in the same fabrics.
I even added a hot air balloon charm zipper pull to the front zippered pocket.

Inside is a zippered pocket and I added a slip pocket with a pen pocket.

This is the back side of the bag.
I made another Sunshine Cross Body bag that I will be posting soon. I also enlarged the pattern so I can try making a larger one too.

Sunshine Wristlet as a Cross Body Bag

The Sunshine Wristlet is a free bag pattern by Bagstock Patterns. I have never made any Bagstock Patterns before, so I wanted to try this one. The wristlet can be made with a wrist strap or a strap that is sewn into the bottom portion of the bag as a clutch; however I thought this would look better as a cross body bag, so I added an adjustable strap. I didn't even enlarge it as I thought it was a good size bag as is. In fact a bit too large as a wristlet, in my opinion. But that's what is fun about making bags, you can enlarge or reduce them, add things or subtract things as you wish.

This was an easy enough bag to sew too. I got creative with the strap, as I didn't have enough of either fabric to make a long enough strap, so I sewed the fabrics together and I like how it turned out!

This closes with a zipper on top. A lot of women love a zippered closure (I guess so things don't fall out). I like all closures, depending on the bag style.

Inside there is a slip pocket as well as a zippered pocket.
This one is now in the gift shop.
