I knit 4 hats to give to women for chemo hats at UNM Hospital. I didn't photograph one hat. These were made by holding 2 strands of yarn held together to make a Bulky Weight yarn. They knit so quickly! I am usually knitting in a Fingering/Sock weight yarn, so it was fun to knit a bulky weight for a change. The bulky weight will be warmer on someone's head too. The yarn is acrylic as they don't want any animal yarn in case it itches a head. It is fun to pair different colors together to create a variegated look. It is a great way to use up miscellaneous yarn for a good cause.
