Sew-Along or a Tutorial?

I have been working on a tutorial for a quilt that I had made. But I got to thinking, would you prefer I made a tutorial (pdf version) and put it on Craftsy where you could download it? Or I could do a sew-along here on my blog where I show a step or 2 each day; which would you prefer? Please leave me a comment below or email me and tell me which you prefer. I'll go with the majority on this.

I suppose you want to see what we will making first, huh? My Batik Hearts Quilt.

  1. It's beautiful. I've got so much on at the moment that I wouldn't be able to join in the sew along so the tutorial download would probably be better. Having said that it's always so much more fun when a group of people are doing a project at the same time. Which ever you choose I'll save it for later. Thanks for doing this.

  3. I always love a SAL, but I am busy doing other things, so I would like to be able to download the tutorial to make at a later date. But what ever you choose to do will be fine with me, becuae I will catch up on it.

  5. Great quilt! I would say SAL, but you might reach a greater audience with Craftsy. Just depends on your final goal. Tutorials take a long time to create so thanks in advance!
