These are bowls, and when you add handles they can be baskets or purses too. I used fabric or ribbon wrapped around cotton clothesline to make these.

Purse/Basket and Bowl
These are bowls, and when you add handles they can be baskets or purses too. I used fabric or ribbon wrapped around cotton clothesline to make these.

I'll have to investigate how to make baskets from fabric wrapped cord. Lots of interesting possibilities... I just need more TIME!!! The basket with handles reminds me of cane baskets we used to have in the 60s / 70s... loved them.
