Bloom Blocks 19 & 20

The last of the Bloom blocks are finished. Here are blocks 19 & 20. They are all finished and now I need to decide how I want to set them into a quilt. I didn't sew borders on my blocks. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with them and still am thinking about it. I used all bright colored scraps to make the blocks and a variety of white and cream background prints too; whatever I already had on hand.

  1. I wish I had seen your Bloom blocks before I made mine. I used plain Ole blanket stitch for my applique. You have inspired me to think outside the stitch and go for the gust of the fun stitches on my machine. I look forward to seeing your completed quilt. Mine is put together but waiting for the final borders.

    1. Hi Miriam. Thank you for your comment. You area no-reply, so I don't have your email to email you directly. I am glad you like my version of the Bloom blocks. I like to try and use a few of the other stitches on my machine. I finished my top and if you know me, I tend to do my own thing a lot, so I set the quilt completely differently that Lori Holt did. I need to get photos taken soon so I can post it.

  8. I'm looking forward to seeing how you will assemble all your beautiful blocks now that they are completed. I'm guessing that the red flower of this post, being bigger, will be at the centre... ?
