I made 16 (of the 50) Bountiful Baskets applique blocks. I didn't want to make a really large quilt, so I chose the flowers from the five states I have lived in and the other eleven blocks I chose to make because I liked the flowers. I am not sure how I will put them together yet. I enjoyed making them.

These baskets are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers and I see lots of texture with these blocks. I look forward to your finished project.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Daryl! Those blocks are gorgeous. These are going to make a beautiful quilt.
ReplyDeleteWow! Each one of them is gorgeous. I like that they don't all have the same background fabric.
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating to my Fabric, Thread and Yarn link party. Have a good day!
They are beautiful! The designs are so simple and elegant and fabrics are so well chosen. I was thinking of making a basket appliqué and looking for a basket weave fabric - turns out you don't need any special fabric!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lena. Since you are a no-reply, I couldn't email you directly.
DeleteThese blocks are really pretty. Love the flowers
