Evelyn Bag too

I made this Evelyn bag for my friend Tara for her birthday before I had made my blue batik Evelyn bag, but I couldn't post it until I gave it to her. I also made Tara a few other little goodies that I put inside her bag too.
Tara loves Asian fabrics and other Asian things too, so I chose an Asian fabric that I have had for sometime. I didn't have enough of the fabric for the handles, so I chose an accent fabric that worked really well with the main fabric.
Back of bag with zipper.
A peek inside the bag.
I made this little coin purse too. It has a snap on the back.
I made this wallet too.
Different Asian fabrics were used for the wallet.
The cash pocket.
Credit card pockets and the cash pocket inside.

  9. I am so lucky, I am the happy recipient of these beautiful gifts and trust me they are even nicer when you see them up close and in person. I'm using all my little inserts as well. I know how much work it must have taken to make my Evelyn bag but all the little bags have fabulous detail as well. Daryl is the queen of interesting detail, I particularly like how she uses rick rack so just half is poking out and then she adds a French knot in the center of the half circle. You can see this on the wallet. speaking of the wallet I really like the use of the double button. I wouldn't have thought you could get two to line up like that without having to glue them but the one on the wallet is stitched. The fabric choices are Asian perfect and all the little details of the zippers and D rings are very handy.
    THANK YOU DARLY
