Knit Pullover Sweater for My Grandson

I knit this sweater for my 5-year old grandson using Lion Brand's Pound of Love yarn. It's a pattern called  Leif's Sweater from the book, "Knit Along with Debbie Macomber: Cedar Cove Collection".
I made this sweater a large size on purpose so that my grandson might get to wear it both this winter and next winter too.

It's knit in a basketweave stitch and seed stitch.

  1. I don't knit, so I'm just astounded every time I see a perfectly formed item that someone has knit. The sweater is just beautiful! He will love it!

  4. It is beautiful and a great idea to make it a little larger as they grow so quickly :-)
