Sew Along Bag Tutorial Starting Soon...
There is a bag sew along starting Monday April 15th at Sweet Bee Buzzings. Bethany has a list of things you will need for the sew along listed on her blog now. So click on the link to get the supply list. You can make it out of one fabric like this photo or make it in patchwork squares, which you can see that version on her blog. It's a great looking bag. Now I have to decide on the fabric...or do I want patchwork? Decisions, decisions...

Log Cabin Quilt...Finally Finished!

| I started this log cabin quilt at a quilt retreat over a decade ago!!! I got the blocks done shortly after the retreat, but they sat for years in a pile. I actually made a log cabin star quilt in these fabrics first. (See last photo) These were the leftover blocks I had. |

| Has a different look shown this way. Is it upside down? Hmm... not sure which way it looks better. |

| This was the log cabin star quilt I made at the quilt retreat years ago. (Can you see the large star in the center of the quilt?) So now I have 2 log cabin quilts, each with the same fabrics, but different looking. |

Green Ruffled Scarf

| I finished knitting this ruffled scarf about a week ago. It's one of those netting-like yarns that when you knit or crochet with it it creates ruffles. |

| My friend Susan gave me this yarn as a gift about 2 years ago. At the time I hadn't seen this sort of yarn before, but then I started seeing it everywhere. It's fun to wrap around your neck in different ways. |

Small & Extra Large Coin Purse

| Extra Large "coin purse". Not exactly for coins, but I used Madame Samm's coin purse pattern from the UR Priceless blog hop (you can find it here on Craftsy) and I enlarged the pattern it to fit the metal frame purse closure I had. The fabric I had in my collection for years and years and there was just enough of this fabric for the front and back. I used a blue fabric I hand dyed last year for the sides and it was the perfect match. I also quilted the exterior. |

| I made this coin purse, which is the size Madame Samm designed, in a batik fabric with another hand dyed fabric for the lining. |
