Knit Hats, Scarf & Cowl

Here are some more knit finishes.

2 knit hats to donate to chemo patients.

I knit a marled scarf (2 different yarns held together while knitting), I used a variegated yarn and a turquoise yarn that had sequins in the yarn. Easy garter stitch knitting. I will use this scarf.

Knit cowl that tapers toward the neck. I have never liked cowls on me because they fit so loose at the neck, letting in the cold air, that I thought, what is the point to a cowl? So I tried this cowl, but I made a mistake 😜and apparently didn't even catch it until the cowl was finished and I was about to make another cowl (using the yarn in the scarf above). This cowl here worked and is nice, so no one would ever know I made a mistake. Okay, so I decided to make another cowl and follow the directions correctly this time. I used the 2 yarns from the scarf I knit above (before I knit that scarf that is😄) and it turned out as most cowls do, too loose at the neck. So I frogged it (ripped it all out) and used the yarn to knit the scarf above instead. What are your thoughts on cowls? Love them or not?

Happy knitting! Happy Birthday to my grandson today too.
