I made the star log cabin quilt at a quilt retreat. Done in blues and naturals with a red center, it was lacking something. So I added the applique flowers to give the quilt a bit more sparkle and that helped to really bring it all together..JPG)

Quilts I Made About 10 Years Ago
I made these quilts about 10 years ago. The blue and yellow quilt was a technique from Margaret Miller's book entitled, Strips That Sizzle. I quilted this quilt by hand. Click on photo for a larger view.
I made the star log cabin quilt at a quilt retreat. Done in blues and naturals with a red center, it was lacking something. So I added the applique flowers to give the quilt a bit more sparkle and that helped to really bring it all together.
