Low Tide Cardigan

I knit this short sleeved cardigan, called the Low Tide Cardigan, using a variegated yarn that I purchased from Knit Picks. It's a Merino/Alpaca/Nylon blend fingering weight yarn.

I added a few rows of garter stitch to the bottom of the cardigan all the way around. The directions say to just bind off after it reaches a certain length, but I wanted it to curl less and to tie in with the other garter stitch edges.

It feels so soft. This has a nice drape to it and the front is longer than the back

I found some silver buttons that worked well for this. They sort of look like starfish, which goes with the  Low Tide name of this cardigan.

I love this pattern as it adds such a pretty touch of a lacy pattern to the yoke.
