Sew Powerful Purses #242-243 (for 2025)

2 more purses from upcycled denim to donate to Sew Powerful. Scrappy denim flaps covered in black tulle with gold dots and quilted. Added rickrack, buttons and couched yarn. I love experimenting with scraps and embellishments. 

The Sew-a-thon starts on Monday September 1st-30th. But I have been finishing some purses I had already started to make. I have been on an upcycling denim jeans roll lately.😄

Fronts with the jean pockets. I appliquéd a heart on the back pocket that is now the front pocket on the purse.
