I found a few motifs that I had from a fabric and fussy cut them to use for the center of this purse flap and some other flaps that I made too. Here is one of them.

I used the wiggle stitch to sew it on the fabric and I added a sewing machine button for fun too. |
The colorful strips were donated to me from a friend.

These fabrics were donated to me to use for the purses I make and donate to Sew Powerful Purse Project. It is so kind of people to donate fabric to me for this cause. It's fun to use a new fabric to make a purse (or purses) too. |

I have a new favorite, Daryl!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love this one too! Love the wavy stitch you used to attach the cute center, it looks like a stamp!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your inspiring purses and linking up.
You are on a roll! I like this one too!
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading The Girls in the Wild Fig Tree. You might enjoy it. It is the autobiography of a young Masai woman who is an advocate against FGM. Fascinating to learn about the Masai community and how it impacts women and young girls. I look forward to seeing your purses each week.
