Sew Powerful Purse #153 (2025)

I made this purse flap from a stack of donated pinwheel blocks I got from a free donation table at a group a couple years ago. Each pinwheel block was in different colors. I made a few purses before using a pinwheel block, but now I am sewing more of them. I had just enough of the Flip Flops (thong sandals) print to make this one purse. It was a fun print to use and perfect for pairing with the pinwheel quilt block as both scream Summertime to me.

I needed to add a few fabric strips to make the quilt block the right size for the purse flap.

Love those flip flops!

This print is so fun and perfect for summer!
