Handmade at Amazon

Handmade at Amazon is now live starting today. I was accepted by Amazon to sell at #HandmadeAtAmazon several months ago, but they still do not have a lot of categories for most of what I do sell yet. So I only have a couple of items listed right now and will be listing more as more categories are added. There are no categories for listing my handbags, or some of my quilts or my knit items. So I don't know when they will get those categories up so I can list them.

Meanwhile you can at least check out my Amazon store by going here: Patchouli Moon Studio @ Handmade at Amazon

  1. I did not know Amazon is doing this. I looked at your store and it looks great. Isn't your Kumihomo necklace priced too low? Is it your leader? Best of Luck with your new shop venue. Creative Bliss...

  2. Congratulations! You can maybe include some of your beautiful textile work as cushions, decorative mini quilts, placemats or coaster sets. Oh, And how about your fabric bowls?! About pricing I also think you should raise it. Remember there are fees that Amazon keeps with each sale. I really wish you the best of luck!!

    1. Thanks Norma. I put two necklaces as an intro sale, good for this month only. I hope to add more items as I can. Taking photos, listing items, making items to sell all takes up so much time, so for me it's a slow process.

  3. I somehow missed that this whole thing was happening until I saw it on the news this morning. It'll definitely be interesting to see how this works, and how this new Amazon service compares with Etsy.

  6. It's fun to see your blog header even larger. :) That's a beautiful necklace you have listed! I love the braiding - so complex and rich in colors. I bet you could get more for it too.
It sounds like they have a lot of work to do still, but I had no idea that Amazon would be branching in this direction. Etsy must be knitting kittens over this.
