Knit and Felted Purse

I used a wool and an acrylic multi-colored yarn held together as I knit this purse. Then I felted it in my front loading washing machine. I don't have a dryer, so this was felted only in my machine and then air dried.

Dazzling Dogs Quilt

• I made this appliqué quilt using the 12 dog patterns from Amy Bradley's Dazzling Dogs, but I set the quilt differently than the pattern. (Thanks to my friend Julie for the patterns)

Bird on a Branch Quilt

• This pattern was from a free download online from CT Publications on their CT pubblog: http://www.ctpubblog.com/2010/03/17/bird-on-a-branch-table-runner/
• It was taken from Piece O' Cake authors, Becky Goldsmith & Linda Jenkins' newest book: Appliqué Outside the Lines.
• I embroidered the blanket stitch appliqués by hand and quilted it by machine.
• This was called a table runner, but I have a round table and like it better for a wall hanging.
• I used scraps for the background, and most of the appliqués.

Knitting Tools Notebook

I designed and made this notebook to hold my knitting supplies (things other than the actual knitting needles), like a tape measure, stitch markers, cable needles, scissors, ruler, etc. This is the front when closed:

Selvage Wallet

I made this wallet using selvages. I designed the wallet in my head and sort of designed as I sewed, ripping out a couple of times as I made mistakes. I like how it turned out. This is the second thing I made using selvages too.
