| Here is the entire flap. Since the top part gets folded to the back of the purse, I started the Trip Around the World a bit lower on the flap, so it shows better when the top folds to the back. |

Sew Powerful Purse #166 (2026)
For this purse flap I set the squares in a Trip Around the World style. I had some batik fabric leftover after making another block, so I used the leftovers to make this flap. Donating this to Sew Powerful Purse Project.

those colors look great together and i love the poetry of the "around the world" technique since this purse will go around the world.
