| I made 3 zippered bags in 3 sizes, using selvages. I lined the bags with the same purple plaid print that you see on the top of the bags. |

| Using all black and white selvages, I made a little notepad cover. I sewed the selvages using a variegated thread and different stitches. |

| This is the inside. Holds a small pad of paper and 3 pencil/pen pockets. |

| I made a "sewing" kit for my grandson with some plastic needlepoint canvas and a plastic yarn needle and some yarn. Now he can "sew" just like Grandma! |
