Sewing Room Re-Do

With the carpeting up and the cement floor exposed this made a perfect place for Ron to build my sewing table. Now that it's built it will be taken out of the room and the floor painting will begin.

Top view of the table. It still needs another coat of sealer on top.

The painted RED floor is done! Now it's drying until I can bring the furniture in.

The new sewing room. New table, painted floors and the room is neat and clean {hope it stays that way for a little while :0)}. Looks great, doesn't it?

  8. Love the sewing table and it is exactly what I am looking for but I honestly don't think I have the talent to build! I desperately need to lower the bed of my machine because it kills my shoulders when I quilt something of any size. Your table is perfect!!

  21. Thanks soooo much for this blog. You've saved me possible heartbreak as I've been considering staining the floor in our master bedroom. The cement is in less-than-pristine condition so you've helped us decide to simply paint the floor. Yours is gi-gorgeous!!! THANKS!

  24. I absolutely love your sewing room! Is it in the basement? I've been sewing in an unfinished basement (in Iowa) for 22 years. Our house is now for sale. We're looking forward to a move to Florida, into a single story home. I'm going to get one of three bedrooms as my sewing room, and will be searching for great quilting room ideas. Love the table your husband built for you! My guy isn't that handy. May I borrow yours? Looks like you have an awesome space. If you have any regrets or things you'd change, now that you've been in the room for a while, please do post about that. It would be extremely helpful to know. Thanks!
